From the centre of Como (Piazza Cavour) walk along the lake in a westerly direction as far as Villa Olmo, cross the garden, cross the bridge of the Chilometro della Conoscenza and follow the path as far as Villa del Grumello.
On days when the Chilometro della Conoscenza is closed, after passing the garden of Villa Olmo, continue along Via per Cernobbio to the entrance gate of Villa del Grumello.
